Graze on Fallen Fruit: How and Why to Pick up Fallen Apples/Pears During the Growing Season7/12/2024
There are three main reasons to pick up fallen fruit: 1. To break pest life cycles; 2. To reduce soil-retained diseases; 3. To deter an influx of wasps and stinging insects. Rather than pick up fallen fruit by hand, animals can be used to graze fallen fruit.
